The Office of Foundation Relations and Corporate Philanthropy serves as the central hub for private foundations seeking to support research, education, and programs that align with their philanthropic mission and goals.
With our fingers on the pulse of what’s happening throughout the university, we’re able to connect foundations to academic leaders and faculty in schools, departments, centers, and labs across campus. We help foundations identify promising research, programs, and activities, and we can work with you to develop, publicize, and facilitate strategic funding opportunities, competitions, awards, prizes, and calls for proposals.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research & Creative Activities
We support the UCLA Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research & Creative Activities which provides logistical support, policy guidance, strategic advice, and assistance building relationships in furtherance of the UCLA research enterprise.
UCLA Office of Contract & Grant Administration
Our office works closely with the UCLA Office of Contract and Grant Administration, which assists the campus research community in reviewing, approving and submitting proposal applications, and negotiating and executing contracts and grants from government and nonprofit funders.
Limited Submissions
A limited submission is a funding opportunity with a limit placed on the number of proposals accepted by the foundation. UCLA has an internal vetting process for limited submissions, and our office can help you manage this process.
